About

     The Library Media Center is open from 7:30AM to 3:30PM each day. Arrangements may be made with Mrs. Rhodes or Mrs. Steele for other times as needed.

     Students may check out up to three books. Books circulate for two weeks.  Magazines do not circulate but may be read in the library media center. Reference books do not circulate. All materials checked out to a patron will become the responsibility of the patron in all circumstances; so DO NOT check out material  for other patrons. There will be a 5 cent charge per day for all overdue books.

    Class and individual research assistance - Booktalks and personal reading guidance -Automated catalog and circulation system - Internet access - Classroom equipment service - Computers for word processing, publications, Powerpoint, etc. - Book Club

Resources

     The Haleyville High School Media Center currently has a collection of over 10,000 items, in addition to numerous magazines and local, state, and national newspapers, available on our website.  There are 44 computers for student use.  In addition, there are 28 laptop computers available for student use while in the library.
